Rintse 386

History: Rintse was born in the Netherlands, the son of Wicher 334 and out of the Stam 50 mare line, the largest producer of Approved Stallions. Early on, he was highly successful in Dressage, competing through M2 and training Z1 & Z2 in the Netherlands.

Breeding: He then left his dressage career to life as a breeding stallion with the Friesian Connection in the USA. After severals years breeding, however, he was disapproved on offspring by the FPS for non-specific reasons. Their loss is your gain, as Rintse is now made available to all breeds and back to his dressage career. Rintse now stands at Friesian Legends in Texas, where he is expected to compete through Level 3 in 2009.

Characteristics: Rintse is the pinnacle of the modern Friesian breed. Rintse graduated the stallion approval process, which eliminates all but 1 of every 300 horses. In this process he was judged on soundness, conformation, and genetics, and also his mind for learning and willingness. He proved himself to be at highest level.

He is born for sport. Rintse has perfect conformation and a highly athletic build at 16 hands and 1300 lbs. Unlike many Friesians, he is high spirited and forward moving. Constantly pacing the fields, he enjoys work and applies his deep intelligence to the task before him. Yet he maintains the willing and thoughtful demeanor that sets Friesians apart.
